Questions & answers

Everything you'd like to know.

Availability & Booking
What happens after I enquire?

You will hear from us within 24 hours. We will confirm whether your date is available and share a little more about how we work. If everything lines up, the next step is a relaxed phone or video call. No obligation, just a chance to talk about your day and see if we are the right fit for each other.

How do I secure my date?

Once we've had a conversation and you're happy to approve a formal quote so that all the details are clear, we'll send over a booking agreement and a 30% deposit invoice. Your date is held exclusively for you once both are received.

Are you available for my date?

The quickest way to find out is to check availability. It takes two minutes and we will reply within 24 hours. We take on a limited number of weddings each year so we can give each couple our full attention, and dates do go. If you are early in your planning, it is always worth getting in touch even before all the details are confirmed.

Pricing & Collections
Do you offer a payment plan?

We offer a standard structure of 30% deposit on booking.  Another 30% payment is due 6 months before your wedding to spread the costs out and the remaining balance is due 4 weeks before your wedding day. Should you be booking us within 6 months of your wedding we have a 50% booking deposit and 50% due 4 weeks before your wedding. If your circumstances require something different, please just ask. If we are a good fit we would rather find a way to make it work than lose the chance to tell your story.

Can I customise a collection?

Yes, and we'd rather you tell us what you actually need than feel you have to fit into a preset box. Our collections are designed to cover most couples well, but if your day is different, whether that's timing, location, size, or scope, just tell us. We're happy to build something that fits.

What does it cost?

We could start with a number, and photography does start from around £1,490, but that is not really the best way to begin. What we offer is built around your day specifically, and the right conversation usually tells us far more than a price list does.

No hidden fees, no surprise charges, and your digital files are always included. Take a look at our collections or get in touch and we will talk it through together.

The Process
What if we are not confident in front of a camera?

Almost every couple we work with says this before the wedding. By the time the day is done, they tell us it was nothing like they expected. We start with simple, natural movement, things you already do together. We let you know if something is not working, which means when you do not hear anything from us, you can just carry on being yourselves. Most of the best images happen exactly that way.

What if the weather is bad?

We've worked in almost every kind of British weather, and some of the most beautiful photographs we've made have been in soft rain and overcast light. We come prepared for all conditions, and we know how to shape the day around whatever nature provides. A grey sky is not a bad sky. Some of our most cinematic work has come from a rainy ceremony.

What should we do to prepare?

Not much. And that's intentional. We'll take care of the technical preparation. What we'd ask of you is simply to be present and to let yourselves enjoy the day. The best photographs come from genuine moments, not posed ones. If you have a shot list of specific family groupings or details, send it over beforehand and we'll make sure those are covered.

How do you work on the day itself?

Our job is to be present without being in the way. We'll gently guide you when it's useful, for portraits, for example, and disappear completely when the best moments are unfolding on their own. Many of our couples tell us it felt like having a capable friend there, not just another service provider. The goal is friendly familiarity without being intrusive.

Will we need to meet before the wedding?

We'll have a video or phone call when you first enquire, and usually another in the weeks before your wedding to go through the day's timeline and any specifics. If you'd like an in-person meeting or a venue visit, we're happy to do that too. The more we know about you and your day, the better we can serve you.

Delivery & Afterwards
Do we own the photographs and film?

You have full personal usage rights, forever. You can print them, share them, frame them, display them. Anything for personal use. We retain the copyright as the creators, and may use a selection for portfolio purposes. You can opt out of this and we'll always respect that. There are no additional charges for files, ever.

How many photographs will we receive?

We don't quote a fixed number. It depends on your day. A typical full-day wedding results in around 500–700 carefully edited images. We'd rather deliver 600 photographs that all tell the story well than 900 with filler. Every image in your gallery is there because it earns its place.

When will we receive our photographs and film?

You will usually receive a sneak peek on the evening of your wedding or the following day. Your full gallery of photographs is delivered within six weeks. Your film is delivered within ten to twelve weeks. We do not rush the editing process. We take the time to make sure everything reflects the care and craft your story deserves.

Travel & Logistics
Do you travel?

Yes, absolutely. We travel across the UK, Europe and beyond. Travel is included within a 70-mile round trip from Lechlade-on-Thames in the Cotswolds. Beyond that, reasonable travel costs may apply. The easiest way to work that out is in our first conversation once we know more about your plans.

A calm conversation costs nothing.

We know choosing the right photographer and filmmaker is a big decision. We'd rather earn your trust through a conversation than a pressure-driven pitch.

We reply within 24 hours. Dates are limited each year.
